Tyler Murray is the U.S. chief executive officer of VMLY&R Commerce. Together with global CEO Beth Ann Kaminkow, Tyler is driving the company on our quest to reimagine the creative potential of commerce with a specific focus on growth in the U.S. An integral part of Geometry’s 2019 repositioning efforts, Tyler has helped to redefine shopper marketing, experiential marketing, and design predicated on his deep understanding of data and how people buy today. His proven track record of building and leading global omnichannel organizations with a focus on analytics, strategy, and operational design has enabled a new way of working, with Living Commerce™ core to the delivery of growth for today’s modern brands.
Tyler was recognized in the 2020 class of Ad Age’s list of 40 people under age 40 shaping the marketing, media, and agency industries and has received numerous awards, including a 2017 International Innovator Award and multiple Effies.
He lives in Arkansas with his wife, Amanda, and their three sons. In his free time, he likes to golf or go camping with his family.
