As the CEO of VMLY&R and VMLY&R COMMERCE Romania Mircea Pascu is responsible for running all facets of the advertising business in an integrated era. Mircea has a proven executive management track record and over 17 years of experience delivering integrated communications and excellence in operations and growth for both clients and agency.
In this capacity, he transformed the agency in a multi-awarded, first class communication entity, capable of delivering exceptional communication solutions across all platforms. Under his influence, the agency introduced PR critical thinking into both local and regional clients’ agendas.
In 2015 as Geometry, the agency won the first Romanian Gold in PR at Cannes Lions Festival, with the same campaign that won Gold Eurobest 2014 (Media), proving that fantastic ideas are able to travel and be relevant in more than one discipline. Under his leadership, the agency was highly honoured at international festivals, winning over 150 awards, thus turning Geometry Romania office into a major contributor to the network's global reputation.
In 2018 he enriched his business knowledge graduating from the Executive Program on Blockchain Technologies: Business Innovation and Application from MIT Sloan School of Management. He also completed a Blockchain Strategy Program at University of Oxford. Both programs offered Mircea a deep and practical understanding of blockchain technology, the cost of networking and how blockchain technology can bootstrap and facilitate a marketplace without traditional intermediaries.
