Switch the launch of McDonald's flagship store in Latin America into an opportunity to activate trust and optimism among people post-pandemic.

Idea

According to the latest Gallup International Global Survey, Colombians are the happiest people in the world.  So to celebrate the opening of the first McDonald’s Flagship store in Colombia, Coca-Cola teamed up with McDonald's to turn their smiles into valuable means of currency.  The interactive commerce experience used facial recognition technology to allow people from the happiest country in the world to pay for their food and drink with a simple smile.
